We have been overwhelmed by the support and coverage that The Women’ Tour has received on twitter since the announcement of the teams and so have gathered a selection of our favourites to share with you all.

Since making the decision to give back to the fans by revealing 14 of the 16 team line up on twitter, there has been a frenzy of excitement and activity from followers old and new. From all the messages of good luck, congratulations and support we have selected a few memorable tweets.

In a line-up that boasts 11 of the world’s top 14 teams, all looking forward to competing in arguably one of the strongest women’s fields ever seen; teams and riders have been unable to contain their excitement and anticipation for the race in May.

Resounding support has gone to British Domestic Team – Matrix Fitness Vulpine (@onthedrops), the only domestic team to gain a Wild Card invite to join the 96 strong rider field.
