October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we want to help inspire people to #ShareTheCare over the coming weeks, so we’ve teamed up with Breast Cancer Care to create a prize draw for an exclusive access all areas VIP experience at next year’s OVO Energy Women’s Tour for one lucky winner.

The competition

We are running a prize draw to win a VIP Package for you and a guest at a stage of your choice at the 2019 OVO Energy Women’s Tour (taking place between Monday 10 and Saturday 15 June, exact locations will be revealed at our National Launch next spring.).

This package includes one night’s stay in the designated Race HQ hotel the evening before your chosen stage and two VIP Hospitality passes for the race’s Breakfast Club at the stage start.

As well as travel from the Race HQ hotel to the start venue, the winner will then get a front-row seat of the day’s racing from our VIP Guest Car.

To finish the day, the winner will be provided with two VIP Hospitality Packages for the race’s Tour Club Hospitality at the stage finish, allowing them to soak up the last of the race’s atmosphere before watching the battle for the stage win from a prime location!

Breast Cancer Awareness

This month, more than 5,000 women in the UK will be diagnosed with breast cancer. One in eight women will develop the disease in their lifetime. These women, and those who love them, are too often left to manage the full impact of breast cancer alone.

We know that when caring for someone with breast cancer, physical treatment is only half the story.

Breast cancer can be devastating to a woman’s emotional wellbeing and many are left feeling isolated from their friends, family and colleagues, coping with anxiety, depression and the constant fear that their cancer will return. They need expert care to recover.

That’s why we need you to help us #ShareTheCare.

T&Cs

  1. This prize draw is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, except employees of Breast Cancer Care and its group companies (“Beneficiary”), SweetSpot Group (“OVO Energy Women’s Tour”), their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.
  2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. Entries come in the form of donations on the designated JustGiving fundraising page (www.justgiving.com/campaign/WomensTourCompetition) ; a minimum donation of £5 is required for one (1) entry. The number of entries per person is unlimited, with each multiple of £5 donated (in one sum, not separate donations) increasing their entry total (e.g. £10 donation = two (2) entries; £15 donation = three (3) entries and so forth). Once submitted, entries/donations cannot be amended in any way.
  4. Late, illegible, incomplete or corrupt entries or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for such entries, or donations made to alternative JustGiving pages/ways of donating to the Beneficiary. One winner will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date.
  5. All entries/donations must be received by 23:59 on Wednesday 31 October 2018.
  6. All entries/donations should exclude Gift Aid as they are not freewill gifts but in return for tickets, goods or services.
  7. The winner will be contacted by the Beneficiary OR the OVO Energy Women’s Tour by email or phone by Friday 1 February 2019. Should they be unable to contact the winner by this deadline or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the OVO Energy Women’s Tour and Beneficiary reserve the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  8. The prize as described is available on the date of publication.
  9. The winning entrant will win a VIP Package to a stage (as chosen by the successful entrant) of the 2019 OVO Energy Women’s Tour in June 2019. This prize is for two (2) people and comprises one (1) night’s stay in the designated Race HQ hotel the evening before their chosen stage; two (2) VIP Hospitality Packages for the race’s Breakfast Club at the stage start; two (2) seats in a race guest car to transfer them from the Race HQ hotel to the start venue, and from the start venue to the finish venue; and two (2) VIP Hospitality Packages for the race’s Tour Club at the stage finish
  10. The prize does NOT include travel between the winner’s home and the race, food and drink (other than that provided as part of the one-night hotel stay/OVO Energy Women’s Tour VIP Hospitality packages), personal expenditure or incidental costs, other than where mentioned. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise their own travel to the Race HQ hotel and from the stage finish venue.
  11. The prize must be taken as one package.
  12. The prize is subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
  13. The winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of the Beneficiary and the OVO Energy Women’s Tour.
  14. Entrants’ data will be used for the purpose of administration of this prize draw and in accordance with the permissions granted or withheld at the point of entry. The Beneficiary will use your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
  15. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Beneficiary and OVO Energy Women’s Tour. Accordingly OVO Energy Women’s Tour may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the OVO Energy Women’s Tour or the Beneficiary as a result thereof.
  16. The Beneficiary is responsible for the adjudication of the prize draw, including the management of the JustGiving donation page and entrants’ data. The OVO Energy Women’s Tour is responsible for the publication of the prize draw, as well as the provision of the prize element in this competition.
  17. These Terms and Conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of these Terms or their subject matter is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
