The inaugural UCI Women’s WorldTour drew to a close earlier this month, bringing the curtain down on seven months of action and 35-days of racing. UCI Vice-president and Women’s Commission President Tracey Gaudry has been speaking about the success of the first Women’s WorldTour in the short video interview you can find here.

17 events made up the 2016 UCI Women’s WorldTour, from the Strade Bianche in Italy in March through to September’s Madrid Challenge in Spain.  Among the four stage races on the calendar was June’s Women’s Tour, the first UCI Women’s WorldTour event to be held in the UK, and the first European stage race.
