It’s the final day of us looking back to the first edition of the Women’s Tour last May, as our attention turns to 2014’s fifth day of racing from Harwich in Tendring to the finish at Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.
It’s the final day of us looking back to the first edition of the Women’s Tour last May, as our attention turns to 2014’s fifth day of racing from Harwich in Tendring to the finish at Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.
Tendring hosted the race for a second day, following the Stage Three finish in Clacton, with the final day’s start heading off from Harwich, just ahead of the Tour de Tendring sportive.
Racing through Essex and Suffolk, the finish came on Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds, with an exciting bunch sprint before the spectacular final podium celebrations.

The Aviva Women’s Tour gets underway from Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds on Wednesday 17 June. The evening before from 5pm fans can get up close to the 16 teams and 96 riders at the free-to-attend team presentation, which will take place in Charter Square in the town, outside the Apex theatre.
