One year ago and the Women’s Tour was reaching the halfway point of it’s first ever race, with Stage Three also witnessing the first win of the race for then World and Olympic Champion Marianne Vos. Relive the action in our highlights video from day three.

The third stage saw the peloton racing from Felixstowe on the Suffolk coast to Clacton in Tendring, the first of two visits for the Women’s Tour to the Tendring district.

It was a flat out day of racing with strong winds blowing the race along, with plenty of attacking riding. Check out the action in our brief highlights video above.

Don’t forget that you can watch all of the Aviva Women’s Tour action on ITV4 this June, with highlights at 8pm every evening during the race.

The Aviva Women’s Tour will return to Clacton for the finish of Stage Two on Thursday 18 June 2015, coming at the end of the second day of racing from Braintree.
