Alison Tetrick won herself a whole legion of new fans from the British crowds lining the route of Stage One of the Aviva Women’s Tour, with a gutsy ride after an earlier crash to go on a lone break. The Cylance Pro Cycling rider struck out alone with over 20-kilometres remaining, eventually being caught within sight of the line. We spoke to her post-stage after winning the Combativity Award on day one.
