Last month you may have seen the news that this year’s men’s Tour of Britain will support the Sport Together Fund, delivered by global charity, Beyond Sport.

The Women’s Tour is proud to be supporting our sister event’s awareness and fundraising efforts, which will begins this week through to September’s Tour of Britain, to support immediate response and longer term recovery efforts.

The Fund was created to leverage the platform of sport to support sport-based development organisations around the world that are providing vital aid to their communities in the face of conflict, harm and insecurity.

The Fund’s first focus is Ukraine where the invasion has forced more than 14 million people have been forced to flee their homes.

From immediate response to longer term recovery and reconstruction, resources will be distributed to community organisations that are helping Ukrainians, especially children, survive, overcome their trauma and rebuild their lives.
