With this year’s OVO Energy Women’s Tour starting next week, we are excited to reveal our sensational new leaders’ jerseys designed by Le Col.
The London-based company’s creations for our 2019 race are once again made with 100% recycled fabric, which was a first for any professional bike race when they launched their 2018 range.
This unique and important step correlates with race organiser SweetSpot’s continued aim of making their races more environmentally sustainable.
OVO Energy green jersey
Awarded to the rider leading the OVO Energy Women’s Tour overall, the green jersey is what every rider in the race seeks to wear – especially come Pembrey Country Park on Saturday 15 June!
Breast Cancer Care points jersey
The rider who accumulates the most points at our stage finishes – awarded to the top 15 across the line daily – will wear the Breast Cancer Care points jersey.
SKODA Queen of the Mountains jersey
Awarded to the best climber in the race, riders battle for points at designated SKODA Queen of the Mountains climbs on every road stage, with primes on offer reflecting the severity of each hill.
Eisberg sprints jersey
Each road stage of the OVO Energy Women’s Tour features two intermediate sprints, where points (three, two and one for the first three riders across the line) are awarded in the Eisberg sprints competition.
HSBC UK | British Cycling best British rider jersey
Backed by HSBC UK | British Cycling, this jersey is awarded to the highest-placed British rider on general classification after each stage.
