The OVO Energy Women’s Tour has been shortlisted for the Women’s Sport Trust #BeAGameChanger Awards, the annual showcase in recognition of those individuals and organisations doing the most to progress women’s sport.
The OVO Energy Women’s Tour has been shortlisted for the Women’s Sport Trust #BeAGameChanger Awards, the annual showcase in recognition of those individuals and organisations doing the most to progress women’s sport.
Britain’s longest-running international professional women’s stage race, which forms part of the UCI’s prestigious Women’s WorldTour, has been shortlisted in the Brand/Sponsor Partnership category following its work with title partner OVO Energy during the successful 2017 edition.
The WST’s Board of Trustees will unveil each category’s finalists on Monday 30 April, before a public vote will decide who claims the prestigious prize at the #BAGC2018 Awards in London on Thursday 24 May.
Today’s announcement comes less than a month after the 2017 OVO Energy Women’s Tour was named the Sporting Event of the Year at the Event Production Awards in London.
