The OVO Energy Women’s Tour will be running a National Flag Competition for the first time in 2019, in collaboration with SKODA!

Whether you’ll be out watching at the roadside or catching the action at home courtesy of our nightly ITV4 highlights shows, create, wave and share your official OVO Energy Women’s Tour Flag during this year’s race.

We are encouraging spectators to create and design their own flags that can be used to show support for their favourite icons, nation’s riders, favourite teams or pride in their home town.

Create your flag

Your OVO Energy Women’s Tour flag can be created on paper, card or material.

Why not get imaginative with what to include on the flag? Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Use a national or county flag as your background
  • Decorate your creation in the colours of your school
  • Promote your local business
  • Show your support for your favourite team and/or rider

Be creative with where the flag is waved too:

  • Out at the roadside
  • In shop windows
  • Fields
  • Watching the race on TV –  remember, this competition isn’t just for fans who attend the race in person!

Competition prizes

A panel of SKODA and Women’s Tour representatives will review all entries before selecting a winner and two runners up. They will be looking for imaginative and innovative designs and ideas!

The winning prize will be a SKODA Queen of the Mountains jersey signed by this year’s competition winner, while the runners-up will receive Women’s Tour goody bags.
