Following the Aviva Women’s Tour the UCI Women’s WorldTour resumes with the Giro Rosa stage race in Italy, taking place across nine stages plus a Prologue on Friday evening in the province of the Veneto.

It's the 27th edition of the Giro Rosa, the longest race in women's cycling at ten days with three former winners, including defending champion Anna van der Breggen due to be on the startline in northern Italy.

Aviva Women's Tour winner Lizzie Armitstead (Boels Dolmans) will also be racing alongside fellow Brits Emma Pooley (Lotto Soudal) and Molly Weaver (Team Liv Plantur).
