World Number one Emma Johansson may be Swedish, but she’s considered an honorary Flandrian as her appearance in this video proves.

And on the weekend of the third round of the UCI's World Cup, the famous Tour of Flanders, we thought it was a good chance to introduce Orica – AIS rider Emma Johansson, who lives on the route near Oudenaarde.

The Swede will be just one of the top riders racing in The Women's Tour this May, and has recently been by the Pro Women's Cycling website, in a podcast you can download here.

In the podcast Emma talks about her career, favourite races and touches upon The Women's Tour, in which she'll be racing come Wednesday 7 May.

It also gives us an opportunity to share this great video, in which Emma stars as Sweden's unofficial ambassador to Flanders, promoting Belgium and hopefully giving you an insight into Emma's character.  The video may be in Swedish, but there are some English subtitles to help you along!
