With the 2018 Grand Depart in Framlingham, Suffolk, fast approaching, the final startlist for the OVO Energy Women’s Tour has now been confirmed.

The reigning World, European and Commonwealth Road Race Champions – Chantal Blaak, Marianne Vos and Chloe Hosking – will all start Britain’s leading women’s stage race, while former race winners Kasia Niewiadoma and Lisa Brennauer will also be competing.

We will have 13 current National Road Race Champions take the start, after Norwegian rider Vita Heine was a late addition to the Hitec Products – BIRK Sport line-up. Finnish champion Lotta Lepistö (Cervelo Bigla), who won the final stage in 2016; Italian champion and 2016 podium finisher Elisa Longo Borghini (Wiggle HIGH5); last year’s runner-up Christine Majerus (Boels Dolmans), the current Luxembourg champion; and double stage winner Jolien D’Hoore (Mitchelton Scott, Belgium) will ride.

In total 102 riders from 17 teams will line up outside Framlingham Castle at 10:30 on Wednesday (13 June).
