The CAMS – Basso team are the latest to announce their line-up for the AJ Bell Women’s Tour, which gets underway in Bicester on Monday 4 October.

The squad is headlined by Commonwealth Games bronze medalist Hayley Simmonds, who will be targeting the race’s first ever individual time trial in Atherstone on Wednesday 6 October, having recently claimed her fourth national title of the season against the clock in the National 10-mile time trial championships.

The double British time trial champion will be lining up for her second AJ Bell Women’s Tour, having raced in 2018, but her first in the bright colours of CAMS – Basso.

Alongside Simmonds will be four other Brits and American rider Emma Edwards. Among the Brits are Katie Scott and Jessica Finney who were a part of the victorious CAMS – Basso team in the Tour Series in August, which also featured Edwards.

Scott, who hails from Faringdon in Oxfordshire, will be on home roads in stage one of the AJ Bell Women’s Tour, which takes place entirely within the county between Bicester and Banbury.

Completing the CAMS – Basso line-up is former triathlete Becky Storrie from the Isle of Man, and Natalie Grinczer who will be starting her third edition of the AJ Bell Women’s Tour.
