Have you ever fancied having your name on the jersey of the world’s number one ranked team? Well now you can, and in the process you can help raise money for a very good cause.
During the Boels Rental Holland Ladies Tour this September any fan can become a jersey sponsor of the team in aid of the Dutch charity foundation, Jeugdsportfonds.
The foundation makes sport accessible for all children in the Netherlands, but anyone from across Europe can join in the fundraising, with registration open until 13 July.
Taking place from 1st to 6th September, fans will have the chance to have their names on the jersey during the Boels Rental Holland Ladies Tour.
There are two options. For €;99 your name will be on the jersey as well as the website of Rabo Liv Team, plus you’ll receive a copy of the special jersey (there are women’s and men’s editions), similar to that below.
For €;169 fans will also be invited to join the final day of Boels Rental Holland Ladies Tour for the finish on the famous Cauberg climb, including a meet & greet with our team.
The money collected will benefit Jeugdsportfonds. Marianne Vos, winner of the 2014 Women’s Tour, and Rabo Liv Team have been associated with this Dutch charity foundation since last season. The Jeugdsportfonds makes sport accessible for children from families who aren’t able to join a sport due to a lack of money. Unfortunately a lot of children in the Netherlands are not able to join a club these days.
“I think it’s very important that all children are able to exercise in sport as this helps to improve the development and health of our children. With this campaign I hope to mobilize as many fans of the Rabo Liv Team as possible. Everybody can contribute to a very important goal. We offer the opportunity to be seen on our jersey in the biggest Dutch stage race for women”, says Marianne Vos, ambassador of Jeugdsportfonds.
