Following on from the Grand Depart of the Aviva Women’s Tour on 15 June, Southwold will also host a Women on Wheels charity ride less than a month later.
Following on from the Grand Depart of the Aviva Women’s Tour on 15 June, Southwold will also host a Women on Wheels charity ride less than a month later.
The Women on Wheels ride is open to women and girls of all abilities and will take place in the beautiful coastal town of Southwold in Suffolk on Sunday 10 July.
The mass participation ride offer two different routes over 7 miles or 18 miles with a refreshment stop included on the longer route.
Whether you are an experienced cyclist, haven't ridden for years or are new to cycling this event is for you!
Joining this ride will not only be sociable, fun and very good for you, but will also raise money for a great cause in The Blossom Charity.
The Blossom Charity exists to help women who would like to make their lives work better. Starting with teenagers who are beginning to look at what they do when they leave school, graduates leaving university and looking for what next and women who are still looking for direction whatever their age.
The Blossom Charity aims to support women to build confidence, develop new skills or help to launch a new idea or enterprise.
Entry is just £5 for the 7 mile route and £10 for the 18 mile route with 8-15 year olds riding for FREE but must be accompanied by an adult.
