The full route for the 2018 OVO Energy Women’s Tour was launched in the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 7 March, alongside news that this year’s prize fund will match that of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain.

Suffolk, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire will once again host stages in this year’s event, while the final two days of the race will see the peloton cover new ground. Having both previously featured in the OVO Energy Tour of Britain, Worcester and Wales will welcome the Women’s Tour for the first time in June.

Race Director Mick Bennett said: This year we have our most challenging route to date and are delighted to be working with the Welsh Government to bring the OVO Energy Women’s Tour to the Principality for the first time, for what we are sure will be a very well received final stage.”

Ahead of the race’s Grand Départ in Suffolk on Wednesday 13 June, follow the OVO Energy Women’s Tour on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to keep up-to-date with all the latest news from the event.
